Point Gas Detection / Gas Monitors
Point gas detectors, or gas monitors, are designed for alerting users to the presence of gas in or near a specific gas hazard. Sensidyne gas monitors are designed with a sensor head that can be mounted in a remote location - closer to a potential gas hazard - while placing the transmitter in a more convenient location, thereby simplifying maintenance. Gas monitors are relied upon by customers for personnel safety and asset protection.

Gas Detection Sensors
Sensidyne provides gas sensors for oxygen, toxic and combustible gases. Our sensors are SMART sensors that compensate for environmental changes and enable transportable calibration - a way to calibrate sensors at the transmitter or inside of an instrument shop then installing them in the field without declassifying the area or powering down. Sensidyne sensors are designed to meet specific application requirements and use reliable sensor technologies including electro-chemical, catalytic bead (catbead) and infrared.

Open Path Gas Detection (OPGD)
Open path gas detectors monitor for the presence of toxic and flammable gases over line of sight areas. Unlike conventional systems, Senscient ELDS™ technology detects gases at a lower concentrations allowing earlier warning of potential catastrophic events.

Sensidyne offers controller models that accept up to 16 input channels and are capable of both audible and visual value and alarm annunciation as well as communication over many protocols. Many Sensidyne gas detection products auto-configure when connected to our controllers, saving you valuable setup time.

Electro-Optical Flame Detection

Electro-Optical fire and flame detectors are advanced electronic devices that sense the radiated electromagnetic energy of a fire in the Ultraviolet (UV), Visible (VIS) and Infrared (IR) wavelengths and detect fires at the speed of light. Our flame detectors have extremely high false alarm immunity due to their ability to "see" using a patented WideBand™ technology that also enables them to detect both hydrocarbon and non-hydrocarbon fires using the same model. All of our fire detectors are solar blind and can be used indoors and outdoors.
