Point Gas Detection / Gas Monitors
![]()
Point gas detectors, also known as gas monitors, alert workers and supervisors to the presence of fugitive gas emissions. These signals are often connected to controllers, sirens, alarms or are wired back to a central control room for integration into a PLC or DCS. Gas detectors are available in many different forms with common differences being the enclosure type, user interface, sensor technologies, and approvals for performance and / or hazardous area. Sensidyne gas detectors are designed to be reliable and user-friendly. Each of our transmitters can be installed with a remote mounted sensor enabling the sensor to be mounted in a remote location closer to a potential gas hazard while placing the transmitter at a location which is most convenient for users to access. Click on one of the transmitters to the right to discover which product is best suited for your application.
